About The Position

Meyer is a growing, family-owned and operated company where employees are considered family. The Fleet Assistant is responsible for supporting the Fleet Administrator in all aspects of fleet management. This includes purchasing parts, maintaining parts inventory, coordinating the shipment of parts and supplies to outside locations, and ensuring all equipment services and DOT compliance are kept current to maximize uptime.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing our truck fleet, including purchasing parts and maintaining inventory
  • Coordinate shipping of parts and supplies to locations nationwide
  • Ensure all equipment services and DOT compliance are up to date
  • Serve as backup to the Fleet Administrator when needed
  • Help maximize uptime through proactive fleet support
  • All other duties assigned.
