About The Position

Reporting into ARS's Vice President, Procurement, this high visibility position will support the Director - Fleet Strategy and Operations in managing ARS' fleet of vehicles. Tasked with procuring and measuring the performance of the company's fleet of motor vehicles to eliminate or lessen the risks, improve effectiveness, and decrease the costs for transportation and staff throughout the company. Analyze the accuracy of vehicles records and compliance with government rules and regulations. Must be able to direct vendors for goods and services and give direction to service centers in negotiating costs and invoices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or a related field is required.
• Knowledge of state licensing and titling requirements required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

• Purchasing experience preferred.
• Strong digital and analytical skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage orders for vehicles, track and report progress, address delays, communicate professionally and accurately with Operations staff in the field, resolve vendor issues and keep updated records.
• Measure and report on vendor performance, including OEMs, maintenance providers, fuel suppliers and vehicle disposal suppliers.
• Analyze spend and performance with a goal of delivering the best value for money.
• Make recommendations for change to the Category manager and Vice President on the same.
• Analyze all safety and company rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Direct the licensing and titling of company leased and owned vehicles.
• Track vehicles on order for the company.
• Authorize the shipments to branches and suppliers.
• Provide analysis of vendor information and make recommendations on that analysis.
• Maintain users and data in ARS fleet website and serve as subject matter expert on the same.
• Manage special projects or additional requirements as directed.
