About The Position

The Fleet Administrative Coordinator at Amerit Fleet Solutions is responsible for providing administrative support within the fleet maintenance environment. This role involves data entry, scheduling repairs, managing parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The coordinator will also interact with clients and perform general clerical duties, contributing to the overall efficiency of the fleet operations.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience in a supportive role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a client-driven approach.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of records management procedures.
  • Parts, inventory, and mechanical aptitude are a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fleet maintenance or automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with safety standards in fleet operations.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry and management of parts requests and submitted documents.
  • Scheduling repairs and maintaining an effective records management system.
  • Contacting clients to resolve questions or inconsistencies regarding parts requests.
  • Confirming the accuracy of data such as unit numbers, VINs, and work order numbers.
  • Generating reports and responding to inquiries regarding entered data.
  • Performing general clerical duties such as typing, answering phones, and scheduling.
  • Transporting vehicles as needed and maintaining confidentiality of information.
  • Assisting with garage and office cleaning as required.
