About The Position

The Flavor Room Technician has the following essential duties and areas of responsibility: Pay extremely close attention to details when mixing flavoring for coffee, tracking weights and percentages of flavoring. Willing to learn how to operate all packaging equipment in the plant. Mindful of and adhere to GMP's, Quality and Food Safety requirements. Alert/mindful and able to successfully identify when the following quality control measures are needed and follow through as required to resolve. Strict adherence to all company policies, procedures and safety rules. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma and/or equivalent (i.e., GED).
  • Ability to work independently and strictly follow all Flavor Room Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Successful, demonstrated skill performance with learning and understanding the automated flavor system and performing all tasks on the HMI screen.
  • Ability to operate multiple flavor blending systems at once.
  • Ability to read, write and interpret basic correspondence, including daily production line sheets, operator check off sheets, machine operating instructions, safety instructions and any training materials.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations: add, subtract and multiply using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume and distance.
  • Ability to keep the flavor room neat and clean during and at the end of each shift.
  • Ability to work with and support others in a positive way.
  • Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process.

Nice To Haves

  • Fork Lift certified or willing to train and acquire proper certification.
