About The Position

The position is for a Flat Pack/Utility in the Cutting Department. The role involves responsibilities such as bulk-pack, break-away, case-pack, and operating shrink tunnel and robot. The employee must maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management and follow all WestRock Core Values and Behaviors. Additional job duties may be assigned by the department manager.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to use and read basic measurement devices (calculator, tape measure, ruler).
• Must follow detailed instructions for training and quality.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack.
• Pass Farnsworth Munsel-100 Hue Test.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for bulk-pack, break-away, case-pack and operating shrink tunnel and robot.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management.
• Follow all WestRock Core Values and Behaviors.
• Perform quality checks on cartons being processed.
• Pack cartons according to job sheet.
• Comply with safety policies and guidelines.
