About The Position

This role demands reps to be strategic, sales-focused, operationally diligent, and relationship-based. Carrier Reps at TransLoop play a vital role in identifying opportunities and developing strong relationships with service providers. We’re looking for someone to own the flatbed/open-deck side of our carrier network. Your main job? Find great flatbed carriers, build real relationships with them, and keep them happy so they’re always ready (and excited) to run our loads.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in flatbed carrier sales or flatbed logistics operations
  • Deep knowledge of flatbed modes, market behavior, and industry-specific regulations
  • Strong carrier network and established industry relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven mindset
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience working in a fast-paced brokerage or 3PL environment preferred

Nice To Haves

  • You have experience selling in 3PL, Transportation, or Tech

Responsibilities

  • Hunting down solid flatbed carriers – whether that’s working warm leads in our TMS or doing your own cold outreach and research
  • Jumping on the phone, booking loads, solving problems, and making sure every shipment goes smoothly
  • Partnering closely with our Customer Sales team to grow new/existing shippers
  • Turning one-off loads into long-term partnerships that keep the freight flowing both ways
  • Keeping your carriers happy while hitting (and beating) the service KPIs our carrier leadership team sets
  • Building tight relationships with our Customer Sales team so everyone’s on the same page and the customer is serviced as the highest levels
