About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Flat Rigger to join our team located in Chehalis, WA. The Flat Rigger is responsible for working cooperatively with team members to cut and assemble window or door screen frames to changing specifications, using a computer-driven measuring device. This position is scheduled for 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cut and assemble window or door screen frames to specifications.
• Use a computer-driven measuring device for accurate measurements.
• Visually inspect for defects or errors in materials.
• Verify size, color, customer, and configuration according to labeling system.
• Sequence materials into rack for the next step.
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
• Notify the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.
• Attend work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
