About The Position

Marin Acura is looking for an experienced Flat Rate Technician who knows import vehicles and thrives in a production-driven shop. What We Offer • Competitive flat rate pay structure • Production bonuses for high-performing technicians • Hourly guarantee during onboarding period • Consistent work flow from a high-volume service department • Modern diagnostic tools and manufacturer support • Factory training opportunities • Health, dental, and vision benefits • Paid time off and paid holidays What You’ll Do • Diagnose and repair customer vehicles accurately and efficiently • Use diagnostic equipment to identify electrical and mechanical concerns • Repair and replace components such as sensors, bearings, and brake systems • Test vehicle systems to ensure proper operation after repairs • Maintain accurate documentation and repair records • Work collaboratively with the Service Manager and Service Advisors • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Deliver repairs that meet Acura standards for quality and safety What We’re Looking For • Experience working on import vehicles (Honda / Acura strongly preferred) • Strong diagnostic ability and attention to detail • ASE certifications preferred • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Commitment to quality workmanship and professionalism • Strong communication and teamwork skills Qualifications • Automotive repair training or equivalent hands-on experience • Familiarity with shop software and diagnostic systems • Ability to read repair manuals and technical service information Work Environment This position is performed in an active automotive service shop and requires standing, lifting, working around moving mechanical parts, and operating diagnostic and repair equipment.
