Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ensures that customer’s cars are kept clean.
  • Maintains stall in an orderly and clean manner.
  • Ability to identify problems quickly.
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
  • Accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and factory manuals.
  • Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
  • Conduct routine services, including oil changes, brake services, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid checks.
  • Document all work performed in repair orders with accuracy and clarity.
  • Follow manufacturer-recommended procedures to maintain vehicle performance and safety.
  • Ensure all repairs meet or exceed quality-control standards.
  • Work efficiently to meet flat-rate or hourly productivity expectations.
  • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors about vehicle conditions and repair needs.
  • Support a positive customer experience by explaining technical issues in a professional manner when needed.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to share knowledge and solve complex issues.
  • Maintain dealership-owned tools and report any equipment issues promptly.
  • Use personal (required) hand tools and maintain them in good working order.
  • Follow all safety protocols and uphold a clean and organized work environment.
  • Stay current with technical training, certifications, and manufacturer updates.
