About The Position

Performs routine car wash maintenance which includes general repairs. Prioritizes work schedule to minimize operation downtime based on daily work orders received via email, text, phone. Inspects and fixes malfunctioning equipment which includes determining and rectifying the root cause by utilizing experience, personal knowledge, equipment manuals and other devices. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment changes or modification through various resources such as training seminars, maintenance manuals, and service bulletins, or engineering documents, as well as individual research and other correspondence. Contacts owner and or supervisor when problems require outside contractor assistance, is a re-occurring event, or parts needed that can’t be obtained locally and are required to be ordered. Provides troubleshooting help and analysis of equipment by inspecting and diagnosing possible causes. Notifies appropriate personnel regarding estimated time frame for repair. Consults with owner for major repairs. Ensures all repairs are performed effectively and efficiently by accurately defining the issues and analyzing options before implementing the final resolution. Comply with all service policies and procedures. Keep Service Manager informed of all significant problems, progress or difficulties. Performs other duties or tasks as it relates to the job that may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical /maintenance background
  • Experience with welding, shock bearing, starters, electrical and plumbing
  • Flexible and able to work 5 1/2 - 6 days a week based on business needs.
