Flaking Roll Service Technician

CPM Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Flaking Mill Service Technician to join our team in Waterloo, IA. This full-time position is crucial for the development and execution of our flaking mill roll grinding field service across North America. Under general direction, the technician will work closely with the CPM Americas Aftermarket Sales Director and other colleagues to enhance our market presence and grow our business within the existing customer base. The role involves the physical grinding of flaking rolls at customer facilities, conducting equipment diagnostic audits, and improving customer operations through standardized processes and increased efficiency. The technician will also be responsible for developing safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and internal training instructions to ensure a scalable approach to service delivery. The Flaking Mill Service Technician will travel extensively, with business travel expected to be up to 75%. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to engage in hands-on work. The technician will be responsible for building relationships with customers and sales representatives, creating and achieving aftermarket budgets, and preparing field reports after customer visits. Additionally, the technician will maintain accurate records of target accounts and assist with the development of customer equipment and service agreements. The role is essential for ensuring that CPM's customers receive timely and professional service, ultimately contributing to the growth of CPM and achieving individual, team, and company targets.
