About The Position

The Fixture Specialist - Junior role is a contract position focused on analyzing fixture needs for remodels and special projects. The specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate fixture orders, maintain the ordering system, and support project managers throughout the construction process. This position requires strong analytical skills and effective communication to manage budgets and project timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 - 3 years' experience in retail/customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• General fixture and retail knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office programs: Excel, Word, etc.
• Experience with Oracle and creating purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical data to determine fixture needs for remodel and special project locations and create purchase orders.
• Review photos, existing site plans, and project manager surveys to inform fixture needs.
• Partner with Construction, Store Planning, Store Operations, General Contractors, Transportation, and Fixture Vendors to ensure accurate and timely fixture orders.
• Act as the primary contact between the fixture contractor and Construction project manager throughout projects.
• Communicate in a timely manner, process additional requests, and provide support for installation questions.
• Ensure Construction punch lists are complete and closed out on time.
• Collaborate with Store Operations Managers to assess additional field requests and place purchase orders if justified.
• Challenge fixture contractors and project managers to justify replacement orders before creating them.
• Provide feedback on quality and delivery issues and supplier performance to meet company expectations.
• Maintain the Fixture ordering system, Timberline, ensuring it is up to date and accurate.
• Troubleshoot and close out Oracle invoice issues and create standard purchase orders in Oracle.
• Create and send purchase orders for each specific store based on fixture C-sets for remodels, new, and special projects.
• Ensure all projects stay within budget and partner with resources to revise scope if necessary.
• Update reports with special project costs.
