About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated person willing to learn powertrain testing activities and willing to dive into complex engine, transmission, and axle test designs. Design powertrain system level and component level test fixtures using Catia v.5 and SDRC Ideas. · Create detail drawings of assemblies and fixtures, using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). · Store all CAD data in Teamcenter (TCe), use TCe to create top down assemblies and bottom up assemblies. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND /OR SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Qualified candidates will possess certifications of two (2) years training from a vocational training school or two (2) years college with courses relevant to drafting or engineering principles plus a minimum of four (4) years’ experience. Additional relevant education may be substituted for a portion of the progressive experience. Candidates require knowledge in the use of drafting equipment and in the application of drafting principles (descriptive geometry, lettering, dimensioning, layout, detail, etc.) and require a general working knowledge of shop processes associated with fixture design. Desired: · Must possess the ability to do CAE and FEA analysis in Catia v.5. · Must be proficient with Microsoft office tools: Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. · Design powertrain system level and component level test fixtures using Catia and SDRC Ideas. · Create detail drawings of assemblies and fixtures, using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). · Store all CAD data in Teamcenter (TCe), use TCe to create top down assemblies and bottom up assemblies.
