Serving three primary markets - passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. Job Purpose We are seeking a skilled Mechanical CAD Designer with expertise in Siemens NX to join our Test Lab Engineering Fixturing Design Team.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in engineering or related discipline
3+ years fixturing design expereince
Develop and maintain detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

Design, create, modify, and manage 3D models and 2D drawings to meet fixturing and tooling requirements.
Support both mechanical components and complete assemblies throughout the development and prototype process.
Manage CAD data within PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) including maintaining version control and documentation of design iterations.
Ensure designs meet company standards, industry regulations, and manufacturability requirements.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements
Support prototype builds and testing support with accurate documentation
Interface with test and prototype teams at their respective workstations to gather feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and provide troubleshooting support.
