As a Fixed-Wing Pilot, you’ll play a critical role in transporting patients and medical crews safely and efficiently, supporting life-saving care with every flight. Flying our Pilatus PC-12 NG from the Anoka base, you’ll partner closely with your medical team to ensure each transport is conducted with the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Requirements

Commercial pilot certificate & Instrument Rating for category and class of aircraft. (Airplane, Single Engine Land) (ATP in category and class meets this requirement.)
First or Second-Class FAA Medical Certificate
2500 Total time
1000 hours PIC in category
500 hours of cross-country
100 hours nighttime
100 hours of actual instrument time in flight in category.
Able to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external entities to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results.
Travel between bases as needed

Responsibilities

Final authority for the safety of passengers, cargo, and medical personnel, and has operational control for all flights which they initiate.
Accomplishes pre-flight inspections.
Conducts all flight operations in compliance with the FARs, the aircraft flight manual, the General Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, and Life Link III’s policies/procedures.
Ensures full and proper completion of all flight documentation.
Maintains a positive attitude with both fellow employees and customers.
Able to conduct detailed flight planning and weather checks with little notice.
Responsible for pertinent information regarding all flights, including NOTAMs, TFRs, and weather information.
Responsible for maintaining qualifications as required in FAR’s.
Follows and upholds the principles of CRM (Crew Resource Management)
Supervises loading of passengers, baggage, and fuel and determines that weight and balance remains within the limitations contained in the aircraft flight manual for all flight operations (Part 91 and 135).
Performs other duties as assigned.

Benefits

Base Pay Rate: $61.92 - $78.72 per hour based on experience
Pilot Retention Bonus Program Structure & Payouts
Eligible pilots can earn a total of $45,000 over three consecutive years of service. Payouts are structured as follows and are contingent upon meeting the service requirements for each 12-month period and will be paid out at the end of each 12-month period.
Year 1: $10,000, Year 2: $15,000, Year 3: $20,000 Total: $45,000
