About The Position

FIXED ROUTE SHUTTLE OPERATOR Avalon Transportation, LLC has immediate openings for both fulltime and part-time fixed route shuttle operators. We operate several fixed route shuttle programs in Silicon Valley in vehicles including 12 passenger vans, 27 passenger buses as well as 40 passenger buses. $$ SIGN ON BONUS $$ Pay Rate: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour, starting rate will be based on experience

Requirements

CDL Required
Passenger Endorsement Required
High School Diploma
Must pass a DOT physical & pre-employement drug test
Must submit to a background screen and MVR check
Must be able to communicate via telephone, two-way radio and in perseon clearly
Must speak fluent English in courteous, friendly, and professional manner
Must be able to successfully utilize GPS and electronic Hours of Service tracking technology.

Responsibilities

Arrive to work in a timely manner
Complete a pre/post trip bus inspection for each shift
Follow all traffic laws and regulations
Complete written reports as required
Follow your assigned route, making designated stops as required
Always ensure the safety of the passengers, surrounding vehicles, as well as pedestrians and bicycles while operating the vehicle
Make sure you have the proper clean attire
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
