About The Position
Princeton Quarry is an underground limestone mine/quarry seeking a night shift Maintenance Technician for our operation located in Princeton, KY. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but not limited to: Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on stationary crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
Requirements
- Must have dedication to safe work practices
- Previous maintenance experience
- Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed
- Must be willing to work a regular 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. shift
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on stationary crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and other plant systems.
- Replace or repair bearings, belts, pulleys, motors, gearboxes, liners, and other plant components as needed.
- Conduct welding, cutting, and fabrication work to repair or modify equipment and structures.
- Assist with equipment installation, alignment, and setup of new plant components.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
- Work closely with production personnel to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient plant operations.

- Operate mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, skid steer, manlift) as needed for maintenance tasks.
- Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in daily safety meetings and communicate equipment issues promptly to supervisors.
