About The Position

OneWater Marine is a leading provider in the marine industry, offering top-tier sales, service, and support for a wide range of recreational and commercial boats. We take pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences both on and off the water. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an experienced and motivated Fixed Operations Manager to lead and elevate our service, parts, and warranty departments. The Fixed Operations Manager oversees all fixed operations including service, parts, accessories, and warranty processing. This leadership role ensures that each department runs efficiently, profitably, and delivers excellent customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring experience in marine or automotive service operations and possess a strong blend of leadership, technical knowledge, and customer service.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience in fixed operations (marine, automotive, powersports, or similar).
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of marine products, boat systems, and marine engine maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • 3+ years of management experience in fixed operations (marine, automotive, powersports, or similar)
  • Familiarity with dealership operations and retail environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in marine service/repair or manufacturer training (Yamaha, Mercury, Volvo Penta, etc.) preferred
  • Experience managing warranty processes and claims preferred
  • Experience using Lightspeed DMS (Dealer Management System) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the service and parts departments.
  • Develop and implement processes to maximize efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage service scheduling, technician productivity, and quality control.
  • Monitor inventory levels of parts and accessories; manage vendor relationships and ordering processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate warranty claim submissions and follow-ups.
  • Analyze and report on departmental performance metrics (e.g., labor hours, parts sales, service revenue).
  • Train, coach, and lead service advisors, technicians, and parts personnel.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and manufacturer policies.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
