About The Position

The Fixed Maintenance Parts Coordinator ensures the accurate verification, kitting, and staging of parts for maintenance jobs, projects, and outages in a three-stage crushing plant, ensuring clear communication with execution teams. This role also manages the return of unused parts, oversees equipment delivery to the warehouse, and may act as a backup for the Maintenance Planner when needed.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid drivers license.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in maintenance execution, planning, or warehousing in an industrial or mining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing, supply chain management, and maintenance planning/scheduling, preferably in a mining or industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with the principles of warehousing, predictive and preventive maintenance processes, and scheduling techniques.
  • Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or execution; background as a craftsperson, maintenance supervisor, or engineer is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management systems such as Oracle EAM.
  • Forklift operation certification and other relevant equipment training as required.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and work effectively in small, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership and self-motivation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Experience with Oracle EAM or similar maintenance management software.

Responsibilities

  • Verify that all ordered parts are correct and ensure the correct quantity and proper arrival of parts before work execution.
  • Organize and kit verified parts by job, project, or outage, and stage them in appropriate areas for execution.
  • Communicate the status of parts orders to planners and field execution personnel.
  • Ensure all repair and return equipment is properly tagged and delivered to the warehouse with shipping papers.
  • Work closely with Fixed Maintenance Supervisors, leads, and field crews to ensure proper parts staging for each job.
  • Perform warehouse runs to collect unidentified parts for planned work, deliver them to the appropriate staging areas, and track these unplanned parts for future planning.
  • Gain familiarity with planning routines and philosophies, providing backup for planning duties during planner absences.
  • Organize unused parts for return to the warehouse and ensure proper credit processing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts laydown yards and staging areas.
  • Support planners in ordering parts and developing work plans, while learning and contributing to planning activities.
  • Manage the EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) system, including work order and maintenance tracking as required.
  • Assist with invoice reviews and approval processes, as necessary.

  • Hourly Rate Range: $28.56 - $43.03 (DOE)
  • Quarterly bonus up to $4,100 (up to $16,400 annually)
