About The Position

Requirements

• Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
• Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours based on customer and company demands.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions and tolerate exposure to loud noises.
• Some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety by prioritizing safety throughout the operation in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on plant equipment, including screen changes, conveyor belt repairs, wear parts replacement, and water pump service.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Monitor and review various aggregate processes to identify problems and ensure compliance with safety and material standards.
• Document and maintain service and lubrication reports for plant equipment to ensure up-to-date preventative maintenance.
• Perform general physical activities to assist with plant operations, including cleaning and shoveling materials.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
