About The Position

Help manage the Trading Desk’s risk exposure, including accurately marking positions, solving trading and booking issues, following market pricing and provide pricing on demand. Manage the Desk’s internal interactions and relations with Sales, Operations, and internal clients. Develop commercial relationships with counterparties and clients in the global fixed income market. Efficiently learn and develop fluency in the Emerging Markets trading environment, including reading research and news, and gaining familiarity with the market participants (clients, banks, brokers, issuers). Develop synergies with Institutional clients in Latin America, North America and Europe.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field, and two years of experience in financial services.
  • Experience with corporate and sovereign bonds in hard currency including high-yield and distressed debt; familiarity with investment-grade instruments, quasi-sovereigns, and U.S. Treasuries.
  • Knowledge of fixed income core concepts, including yield curves, duration, convexity, cash flow analysis, bond valuation, credit analysis, ratings methodologies, credit spreads, liquidity risk, default risk, and bond structures such as callable, putable, convertible, and perpetual bonds.
  • Knowledge of both primary and secondary markets, with familiarity using overthe-counter (OTC) trading platforms.
  • Experience with local fixed income products, including COLTES and CDTs (Colombia); NTNBs, NTNFs, LTNs, and Debentures (Brazil); BTPCLs (Chile); and Perugb (Peru).
  • Experience with structured products and securitized assets.
  • 5% international travel
