Fixed Income Credit Analyst | Senior Analyst - TMT & Industrials
About The Position
We’re looking for an experienced fixed income credit analyst to join our Investment Grade team. In this role, you’ll cover the TMT and Industrial sectors! Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (i.e., finance, accounting, economics, statistics, engineering, data science, sciences (with an investment background), business analytics
- 4+ years' work experience with fixed income strategies in trading, research, portfolio management or strategy capacity, 6+ years for a Senior Fixed Income Analyst
- Proficiency with Excel and Bloomberg
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and economic theory, global financial markets and fixed income products
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively research, compile and analyze information, apply reasoning and exhibit sound decision making related to credit, risk and valuation
Nice To Haves
- Credit experience including previous experience analyzing Investment Grade credits
- Experience in the TMT and Industrials sectors (Cable Satellite, Media Entertainment, Wireless and Wireline, Aerospace/Defense, and Diversified Manufacturing)
- MBA and CFA designation
- Strong abilities in the areas of communication (verbal and written), time management, analytics, financial modeling, and influencing
- Must be collaborative, able to build strong relationships, manage expectations, attend to details, multi-task and prioritize successfully
- Keen sense of curiosity and open-minded thought process
- Familiarity with programming languages (i.e. Python, Visual Basic, and BQL) and advanced uses of Generative AI
