Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and with different departments within the organization.
  • Proficiency in using all Microsoft Office software required.
  • Experience working in a heavy deadline driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle and Hyperion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and understand recurring and non-recurring journal entries, research and resolve reporting errors or discrepancies timely.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations timely and accurately.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items.
  • Perform other month end duties and assist in the preparation of financial reports and data required on a timely basis.
  • Assist in identifying and documenting processes and procedures.
  • Work cross-functionally with other team members to gain understanding of business and data requirements to ensure general ledger balances are correct, transactions are classified properly and reported accurately.
  • Assist management in ad hoc projects.
