About The Position

We are currently seeking a skilled Fitter Welder I to join a manufacturing company specializing in industrial equipment. The ideal candidate must be able to pass a 3G Mig/Flux test and demonstrate strong layout and welding abilities.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a 3G Mig/Flux test.
• Strong layout and welding abilities.

Responsibilities

• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind, and bolt components into position for welding.
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
• Layout, fit nozzles, supports, and couplings per blueprint into shell.
• Remove rough spots from workpieces using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report defective tools and equipment.
