About The Position

Kuki`o Golf and Bech Club is seeking an energetic, professional, and member-focused Fitness Training Specialist to join the wellness team! This role is ideal for a motivated fitness professional who is passionate about helping members achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized training, safe instruction, and exceptional service. The Fitness Training Specialist serves as a visible ambassador of the club's fitness philosophy and standards.

Requirements

• Nationally recognized personal training certification required (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification required
• Minimum of 2-5 years of personal training or fitness instruction experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a polished, professional demeanor
• Ability to motivate, educate, and connect with a diverse membership
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a private club, gym, or hospitality-focused environment a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group personal training sessions tailored to individual member goals and abilities
• Conduct fitness assessments, goal setting, and progress tracking for members
• Design safe, effective, and engaging workout programs for a variety of fitness levels
• Instruct members on proper exercise techniques, equipment usage, and injury prevention
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming fitness environment
• Monitor fitness floor activity to ensure safety and proper etiquette
• Promote personal training services, programs, and wellness initiatives to members
• Support group fitness classes or specialty programs as needed
• Evaluate contract instructors/personal trainers as to their effectiveness of teaching classes and personal training
• Ensure that the fitness instructors/personal trainer's qualifications and certifications are up to date to teach fitness classes or personally train
• Assist Spa Director in maintaining the fitness class schedule including updates, descriptions and changes as they become necessary
• Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and organization for the Spa and and the Club
