About The Position

As the Fitness Trainer , you will develop and conduct physical fitness programs for government employees in the Bethesda, MD area. Trainers will provide individual consultations, programming, and wellness instruction to a diverse population at various customer locations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Oversee day to day operations of the fitness center Perform fitness assessments, determine exercise prescriptions, and design workout programs for employees including high risk clientele Provide one on one consulting, training, and motivation Design & implement incentives, health promotions, and other specialty programs EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE A Bachelor’s degree in an exercise/fitness related field 1-3 years of professional experience in a fitness environment CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications or ability to obtain certifications upon hire Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Academy of Sports medicine (NASM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or another equivalent personal training certification from a nationally recognized credentialing authority. Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in an exercise/fitness related field
