About The Position
Position Overview Department: Health & Wellness Schedule: One will be on day shifts, and one on evenings. Both will require occasional weekends. Flexible from 7a – 4p for the day shift Flexible from 4p – 9p for the evenings Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's 119 Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Provide instruction on physical fitness as it relates to all aspects of general health and wellness. Design fitness programs for various patient populations. Organize and instruct exercise classes for all fitness levels. Ensure that all participants are properly trained on the use of the facility's exercise equipment. Develop and market general health and wellness programs. Present educational lectures/programs throughout the community. Oversee and ensure appropriate use and maintenance of Fitness Center equipment. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Required. Education: High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. Additional Preferences No additional preferences. Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Required.
