Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year related work experience
  • Current CPR/First Aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
  • Personal Training and/or Group Exercise Experience preferred
  • Water Aerobics is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments to evaluate residents' current health and functional abilites.
  • Design and implement individualizes exercise programs incorporating flexibility, strength training, and cardiovascular conditioning.
  • Instruct and educate members on proper exercise techniques to ensure safety and maximize results.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of community-wide wellness programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fitness environment for all residents.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents and staff, motivating and encouraging active lifestyles.
  • Lead engaging group exercise classes tailored to varying ability levels.
  • Provide specialized training for clients with diverse medical conditions and cognitive impairments.
