About The Position
The Fitness Specialist is responsible for maintaining a professional image and providing excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values. This role involves providing safe, motivating, and effective individualized exercise instruction, instructing new members on the proper use of exercise equipment, and developing exercise programs that incorporate all five components of fitness. The Fitness Specialist will conduct fitness assessments and orientations, maintain a neat and orderly exercise environment, and assist with equipment maintenance as needed. Additionally, the specialist will utilize the Activelinxx Interactive Network Computer System to conduct orientations and promote fitness programs to members.
