About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Fitness Sales Specialist to assist our General Manager with new membership sales efforts and contribute to the overall success of our StretchLab location. The Fitness Sales Specialist will work with the rest of the studio team to bring new members to the studio and book them into Demo/Intro Stretches and ensuring retention of current members. This role requires a passion for fitness, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of sales success. As a Fitness Sales Specialist at StretchLab, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with prospective clients and guiding them through their fitness journey by promoting and selling our assisted stretching services and associated retail products. Your role involves a dynamic blend of sales, customer engagement, and wellness advocacy.

Requirements

  • Passion for Boutique Fitness: A genuine passion for fitness and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle are important qualities. Candidates should be zealous about helping others achieve their fitness goals and gifted in inspiring and motivating clients.
  • Experience and Expertise: A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets ideally in a fitness or wellness environment including the ability to effectively present and sell fitness services.
  • Empathy and Compassion: The ability to empathize with clients and understand their individual needs and challenges is essential. Candidates should be compassionate and patient, adapting their approach to meet the diverse needs and abilities of clients.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication is crucial in a boutique fitness setting. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen actively, show empathy and offer outstanding customer service. They should be able to establish rapport with clients and communicate effectively with team members.

Schedule flexibility is also paramount and candidates should have availability to work evenings and weekends as needed as well as be able to travel to local community “Pop Up” events.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and Client Acquisition: Act as the first point of contact for potential clients, warmly welcoming them and assessing their fitness needs.
  • Perform warm lead prospecting calls to potential customers that have expressed interest through grassroots and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Educate potential clients about the benefits of assisted stretching and how StretchLab's services can help them achieve their fitness and wellness goals.
  • Conduct tours of the studio and provide detailed explanations of the different stretching programs we offer while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s goals and needs.
  • Utilize consultative sales techniques in collaboration with our certified StretchLab Flexologists to create personalized stretching plans that align with individual client needs.
  • Maintain acceptable level of personal sales & prospecting production in order to help the studio Achieve monthly sales & lead quotas.
  • Follow-up with members, leads and prospects including those that may have missed intro/demo stretches
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with both current and prospective clients to understand both their wellness and fitness goals and needs.
  • Assist with scheduling and booking member appointments ensuring customers are leveraging their membership by consistently maintaining at least two (2) future booked appointments per customer.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions and progress through our ClubReady management system.
  • Follow up with leads and inquiries promptly, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure clients' needs are met throughout their StretchLab experience.
  • Ensure the studio is clean & tidy
  • Community Engagement: Represent StretchLab Atlantic Beach at “Pop Up” networking/ community events and studio promotions to promote & sell our memberships and build brand awareness.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives to foster relationships with local businesses and individuals interested in fitness and wellness.
  • Engage with the community and our membership base through social media.
