About The Position

Are you passionate about fitness, helping seniors live longer with resources for a healthy lifestyle, and ready to be a foundational part of a service that is good for the community? The Fitness Program Manager plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and consistency of the Live 2 B Healthy fitness program across all partner communities. This position is responsible for trainer scheduling, class logistics, and ensuring the program is delivered according to brand standards. The Fitness Program Manager serves as the key liaison between trainers and senior living communities, ensuring smooth operations and a high-quality experience for participants.

Requirements

  • Experience in fitness instruction, personal training, or group exercise management
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Confidence in managing multiple trainers and community relationships
  • Current nationally recognized fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or equivalent)
  • Current CPR/AED certification (required)
  • Carry active insurance (required)
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality for supporting sessions

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in senior fitness or working with older adults
  • Familiarity with fitness program management or franchise operations
  • Background in working with seniors or within senior living communities
  • Understanding of age-related conditions and how to safely modify exercises

Responsibilities

  • Trainer Scheduling & Coverage: Create and manage the master class schedule across all client locations. Assign trainers to classes and arrange for qualified substitutes as needed to prevent disruptions.
  • Trainer Oversight & Quality Assurance: Ensure all trainers are properly certified and compliant with Live 2 B Healthy standards. Conduct regular site visits, class observations, and provide ongoing feedback and support.
  • Trainer Recruitment & Onboarding: Help recruit, interview, and onboard new trainers. Coordinate initial training and ensure all new hires are fully prepared to lead classes independently.
  • Class Communication & Logistics: Serve as the primary point of contact for communities regarding class times, schedule changes, and trainer assignments. Communicate promptly and professionally with community contacts and trainers.
  • Program Quality & Development: Monitor and support trainer performance, identify areas for improvement, and facilitate continuing education opportunities. Maintain consistency in program delivery across all locations.
  • Substitute Teaching: Serve as a backup instructor and fill in for classes when needed to maintain continuity of service.
