Lead, Build, and Grow a High-Performing Personal Training Department

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a driven and experienced Fitness Manager to lead the Personal Training department at our Taylorsville Road location—one of the largest and most dynamic fitness facilities in Louisville, with over 70,000 square feet of training space.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in personal training or fitness management
• Strong sales background with the ability to drive revenue and close training packages
• Ability to recruit, develop, and retain top-tier personal trainers
• High energy, organized, and results-driven mindset
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification required
• CPR Certification required
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the Personal Training department including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing trainers
• Drive department revenue and profitability through strong sales systems and member engagement
• Ensure all new members receive proper follow-up and are integrated into training programs
• Track and manage fitness consultations, sessions, and department KPIs
• Create and maintain a high-performance, team-driven culture
• Maintain flexible scheduling to meet member demand and maximize productivity
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operational at all times
• Collaborate with the Club Manager to align on overall club goals and performance
• Conduct weekly and monthly reporting on performance, goals, and profitability
• Ensure all systems, documentation, and standards are consistently executed
