About The Position

PMP is seeking a motivated, detailed, communicative, and personable leader to join our team as Part-time Fitness Instructor, SunRiver, St. George, UT. Property Management Professionals LLC. PMP is seeking a motivated and certified Fitness Instructor to lead both land and water-based group fitness classes for our active adult community. Requirements

  • Group Fitness Instructor Certification required (ACE, AFAA, or equivalent).
  • Group Fitness Teaching Experience required
  • Experience teaching land-based fitness classes, yoga, and/or water aerobics.
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills.
  • Ability to work with participants of all ages and fitness levels.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to teach mornings and afternoons.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to create new class formats and incorporate creative programming.
  • Ability to learn new SunRiver Signature Classes.
  • Two years of group fitness instruction.
  • Experience working with senior populations.
  • CPR/AED certification, or ability to obtain withing first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safe, effective, and engaging land and water fitness classes for all skill levels.
  • Teach group fitness classes like HIIT, Cardio, or Yoga.
  • Modify exercises to accommodate participants of varying abilities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the fitness area.
  • Provide guidance and encouragement to participants to support their fitness goals.
