About The Position

Customer service job monitoring use of the exercise floor and equipment. Assists in member services and instructor-led programming.

Requirements

• Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established.
• Works directly with patients and/or customers.
• Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction.
• Works with external customers via telephone or face to face interaction.
• Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or health related field preferred.
• 6 months of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises members and guests using exercise facilities: performs blood pressure and heart rate checks for members.
• Identifies members with signs/symptoms and provides appropriate response.
• Orients and educates members: provide new member education and orientation. Instruct proper exercise technique.
• Maintain safe exercise environment: identifies potential hazards and removes risk or places the area off limits.
• Facilitates emergency response protocol.
• Performs routine spa/pool maintenance.
• Provides high level of customer service: welcomes all arriving members and guests.
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work area and facility.
• Completes opening/closing checklists.
• Performs all aspects of enrollment and marketing: performs new member enrollment.
• Promotes membership by conducting tours and responding to information requests.
