Instructors are responsible for providing their own music, tracking class attendance, starting/ending class on time and turning in paperwork in a timely manner.
Must exhibit initiative in the absence of supervision.
Have a positive attitude and show professionalism in communications.
Experience working with older adults, confident managing multiple participants at a time, and the ability to create a fun environment.

Requirements

• JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions.

Responsibilities

• Greeting participants and providing a high level of customer service.
• Responsible for the preparation of lessons plans, instructing, and evaluating class participants.
• Lead group exercise for participants 50 and over with a maximum number of 25 participants
• Arrive on time and prepare needed equipment.
• Track attendance and communicate program updates to participants.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies and administer first aid as needed.
