About The Position

Cherokee Town & Country Club in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a Part-Time Fitness Housekeeping Attendant to maintain the cleanliness of our Locker Rooms and Fitness Areas. If this sounds like the perfect gig for you, apply today! As the Fitness housekeeping Attendant you ensure that our club and its facilities are kept exceptionally clean and well organized. Keep towels and other supplies well stocked in the fitness center. You will complete appropriate cleaning of all individual function rooms, member and staff restrooms, fitness facilities, common areas, business and executive offices, tennis restrooms, pool house, and snack bar. At Cherokee, you will uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct. Cleaning duties may include but are not limited to: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, cleaning windows/glass/mirrors, furniture, member towels, trophy cases, and silver polishing. Cleaning of floors and carpets in the fitness center. Ensure the interior lightbulbs are on and in good working order in the fitness center. Ensure all locker rooms and restrooms are always stocked with towels and other amenities. Perform other duties, as assigned, to meet the Club’s needs.

Requirements

  • Hospitable, pleasant, and service=oriented personality.
  • Motivated and a team-player.
  • Physically able to lift 50 ibs. without injury.
  • Prior housekeeping experience in a private club setting or similar environment.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to be certified.
  • Must be able to use general household cleaning supplies on a daily basis and in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Must be able to spend the majority of the day on your feet, moving and continually looking for ways in which the presentation of the club can be improved.
