Fitness Floor Support Associate
About The Position
The Nook Fitness Floor Support Associate serves as the first point of contact on the fitness floor. They create a welcoming, safe, and clean environment for all members. The associate will balance customer service responsibilities with continuous cleaning and upkeep of the fitness center. This position will be scheduled for shifts anytime between the hours of 6am-10pm. The starting pay rate for this position is $15.00/hour. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
- Must have dependable transportation to and from work

Responsibilities
- Greet members warmly on the fitness floor
- Offer assistance, directions, or basic equipment guidance
- Provide new members with equipment orientations, or “Strategy Sessions”
- Answer general questions or direct members to appropriate staff (trainers, front desk, management)
- Monitor member behavior to ensure adherence to club rules
- Conduct hourly floor walk-throughs
- Observe equipment use and report safety concerns
- Wipe down equipment regularly (machines, benches, mats)
- Sanitize high-touch areas (handles, rails, lockers, doors)
- Empty trash and replace liners as needed
- Spot-clean floors, mirrors, and glass
- Clean restrooms and locker rooms per schedule
- Follow all sanitation and chemical safety procedures
