Fitness Center Monitor
About The Position
JVM Solutions is hiring a full-time and PRN Fitness Center Monitor for a fitness center in Moffett Field, California. This role ensures to provide a safe and clean environment for staff to work out on site. Duties and Responsibilities This role involves providing any Fitness Center related requirements, including: Support the operation of the Fitness Center in various shifts between the hours of 1100am to 7:30pm Pacific weekdays, under supervision of the Fitness Center Manager. Maintain work-out areas to provide a safe and clean exercise facility. Conduct daily facility safety and cleanliness inspections. Conduct hourly walking visual tours of the entire facility as a basic safety check. At least once per day, wipe down all hand/skin touched surfaces, such as handrails, hand holds, door handles, weight benches, locker room benches with an EPA registered disinfectant. At least once per day, wipe smudges from all mirrors with glass cleaner. Ensure FC facilities are neat and tidy. At least once per week, wipe down all fitness equipment surfaces with an EPA registered disinfectant. At least twice per day, morning, and evening, inspect the FC bathroom/shower areas for cleanliness and safety. Potential to provide fitness classes during the morning, lunchtime, and evening based on possessed certifications.
Requirements
- AA, BA, or BS in exercise science or other health/fitness-related field or a professional certification from a nationally recognized health/fitness organization (ACSM exercise leader certification is preferred).
- First Aide, CPR/AED
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
