In search of Part Time Fitness Attendant. Must have a can-do attitude, great customer service skills, and a desire to enhance the fitness and wellness of our members and their guests! Background working in a Fitness/Wellness environment a plus! Summary Ensures that the Fitness Center is a friendly place that is well stocked, clean and organized for the member’s enjoyment as well as the overall operation of the facility. Must have a can-do attitude, great customer service skills, enjoy face to face interactions and phone interactions, good computer skills and likes to smile! Background working in Fitness/Wellness environment is a plus!

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or 2 years previous face to face customer service experience or a combination of the 2.
  • Previous hospitality experience is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification, (can obtain within 90 days of employment).
  • Certified Personal Trainer preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Meet, greet, and welcome members and guests to the Fitness Center.
  • Enforce Fitness Center rules and policies.
  • Assist teammates
  • Maintains cleanliness/organization of the Fitness center, Locker rooms, and Pool area; including:
  • Laundry
  • Wiping down/ organizing equipment
  • Stocking locker rooms
  • Stock coffee station
  • Set up and clean up group fitness classes
  • Individual should have an outgoing personality and present a positive, professional image.
  • Perform responsibilities with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (to include courteous phone skills).
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, employees, members and guests.
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Reliable and dependable attendance.
  • Maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
