About The Position

Woodfield Country Club is seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Fitness Attendant. Our attendants oversee the cardiovascular area as well as the reception desk, greet members in a warm and friendly manner and assist members in getting on their desired piece of fitness equipment, and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the fitness equipment and space. The attendant will also assist in servicing our busy "Café Blendz" food and beverage outlet. Candidates will be responsible for making smoothies and serving bagels and coffee in the morning, cleaning tables and providing a high standard of customer service to our membership. Part-time & Full-time hours available Great for those seeking a flexible schedule Available Hours: 5/6AM-1PM & 1PM-8PM

Requirements

Excellent communication and service presentation
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and early mornings

Nice To Haves

Education and interest in fitness, preferred
Previous experience, preferred

Responsibilities

Maintaining cleanliness of fitness area; cleaning equipment with antibacterial cleaner between each member's use.
Assist front desk in performing towel runs and locker room checks.
Performs daily operation by preparing café when the fitness center opens for service of coffee, bagels/bread and fruit to our members.
Inspect work area to ensure all equipment is clean, sanitized properly and in working order at all times. Ensures cleanliness of café and that staff adhere to food service safety standards.
Communicate with purchasing for products according to anticipated demand and fluctuations in usage (holidays, spring break, etc.).
Oversees inventory storage, item preparation, and serving of refreshments by other workers in café.
There may be other tasks or duties relative to the performance of your position requested of you by your supervisor from time to time.
