About The Position

The Fitness Aide at Oaklawn Life Improvement Center assists members, guests, and visitors of the club. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and safe environment for all users of the fitness area.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification within 90 days of hire.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of fitness and aquatic equipment and emergency procedures.
• Skilled in interpersonal relationships and assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Consistently uses an outward mindset and puts forth exemplary effort in accomplishing goals and objectives.
• Provides customer service to members and guests.
• Processes point of sale purchases as needed.
• Conducts opening and closing duties.
• Manages the cash register.
• Assists in membership sales and guest tours.
• Ensures that the fitness area, equipment, and locker rooms are clean, well maintained, and safe.
