FISH AND GAME WARDEN
About The Position
Incumbent serves as the Recruitment Training Officer for Fish and Wildlife Warden Cadets at the P.O.S.T. Academy at Butte College. Incumbent will be responsible for Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) and California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) specific instruction as well as assist in day to day administration of the CDFW basic academy class. Incumbent will be responsible for organizing and directing Fish and Wildlife specific training for newly hired Cadets as well as newly hired Wardens before they are placed into an Field Training Officer (FTO) program. Incumbent will report to the Academy Lieutenant in the Law Enforcement Division.
Requirements
- This position requires possession of a valid Class C Driver's License.
- Must maintain a clean driving record.
- The selected candidate may be required to provide a photocopy (front and back) of the license: Name as stated on the license, issuing state, DL #, Class, expiration.
