About The Position

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical and cashier duties under general supervision.
  • Process payments received electronically, in person, and by mail.
  • Balance daily transactions and deposit cash.
  • Update and maintain records of all city customers.
  • Issue bills, past due notices, and shut-off notices.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in person or over the phone.
  • Schedule customer appointments and create work orders for meter technicians.
  • Provide backup support for the customer service division.
  • Compile monthly reports for officials and the public.
