Living Resources is a non-profit human services agency dedicated to supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities or other life-challenging conditions. As a Fiscal Intermediary Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that participants receive the necessary support to thrive and lead active, fulfilling lives. This position is not just a job; it is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while also finding personal and professional fulfillment. In this role, you will be responsible for the billing and payment of approved goods and services on behalf of the participants. You will engage in fiscal accounting and reporting, ensuring that all financial activities comply with Medicaid and corporate regulations. Administrative support is also a key component of this position, which includes verifying staff employment eligibility and assisting participants in managing their staff. You will participate in annual and semi-annual Life Plan meetings to discuss self-directed staffing issues and budget expenditures, as well as Circle of Support/Care Planning Team meetings as a budget resource. Additionally, you will be involved in incident management, reporting, and investigating issues related to self-hired staff in coordination with the incident management team. Training participants on their employer responsibilities and providing educational support to participants, families, brokers, staff, and interested parties will also be part of your duties. This position requires a collaborative approach, working cooperatively with independent and agency brokers to ensure the best outcomes for participants.
