About The Position
As the Fiscal Analyst 4, you will be the technical expert for the Small Agency Financial Services (SAFS) team within the Finance Division of the Department of Enterprise Services (DES). Your primary responsibility will be to provide advanced financial analysis and support to various state agencies, ensuring they have the necessary tools and information to make informed financial decisions. You will be involved in the preparation and analysis of budgets, financial reports, and forecasts, and will play a key role in advising agency staff on financial matters. Your expertise will help agencies navigate complex financial regulations and policies, ensuring compliance and promoting financial health. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing and implementing financial management systems and processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations. You will collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices in financial management. Additionally, you will provide training and support to agency staff on financial reporting and budgeting processes, fostering a culture of financial literacy and accountability.
