SAO has a great opportunity for a Fiscal Analyst 3. This position is jointly responsible for accuracy and timeliness of the agency payroll process. Responsibilities include advising agency management and staff on payroll regulations and benefit administration, reviewing and processing timesheets, reconciling leave, and processing payroll cycles, as needed. Under general supervision, this position provides guidance to fiscal related professional staff in financial methods and procedures. Monitors, reviews, or audits the accounting or fiscal aspects of general ledgers. Creates routine fiscal reports, provides research assistance with expenditure data and analyzes financial and management data to ensure accuracy. Review accounting reports from multiple systems, analyze transactions and create and enter journal voucher as necessary. Monitor aged warrant report and work with recipients on cancelling and re-issuing warrants as necessary. Reconciling and correcting errors in general ledgers and account funds. The Financial Services Team provides support and accountability for agency financial and budgetary decisions and practices. As a smaller finance shop, we offer an opportunity for team members to participate in a variety of functions and duties.
