About The Position
The Opportunity: Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about making a difference in higher education? As a Fiscal Analyst 1, you’ll play a key role in supporting students and ensuring financial processes run smoothly at the university. In this role, you will: Take ownership of the Third-Party Guarantee process, acting as the primary point of contact between students, donors/guarantors, and the university. You’ll ensure that payment requests are processed on time, awards meet donor requirements, and all financial records are accurate and reconciled. Use your analytical skills to research and resolve discrepancies, ensuring strong internal controls and compliance with all third-party agreements. Manage payroll deductions for current staff and participants in the Coretech Payroll Deduction Program, keeping everything running efficiently and accurately. Collaborate with Veterans Coordinators to implement and maintain billing and reconciliation processes for the Post 9/11 GI Bill and other military tuition assistance programs. Support a variety of fiscal operations, including processing stop payments on refunds, handling WSU ID number requests for corporate and non-corporate accounts, and assisting with customer service inquiries.
