About The Position

This role focuses on creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests while delivering exceptional, efficient service. The position supports the Director of Outside Operations and other managers in all facets of daily activities. Key responsibilities include maintaining a fully stocked and organized driving range, handling club phone communications, overseeing the proper care and operation of the golf cart fleet, and providing outstanding service to members and their guests. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a commitment to high-quality service are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

  • Adhere to all club policies and procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand outdoors for extended periods of time.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude at all times.
  • Communicate regularly with the supervisor regarding departmental matters.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Consistently report to work on time and fully prepared to perform assigned duties.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Meet department productivity and performance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver superior, efficient service to all members and guests.
  • Follow all procedures outlined in the Outside Operations Manual.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures as assigned.
  • Communicate any golf cart, driving range, or practice area restrictions through properly posted notices.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and event needs with the Outside Operations staff.
  • Ensure all driving range and practice area setups are completed and maintained properly each day.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bag room, cart barn, and starter booth.
  • Manage the daily and monthly maintenance of the golf cart fleet, keeping accurate records of maintenance, GPS system updates, and repairs.
  • Rotate golf carts strategically to ensure even usage and extend the lifespan of the fleet.
  • Ensure every golf cart is thoroughly cleaned, stocked, and detailed prior to returning to the staging area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Golf or Head Golf Professional.
