About The Position

The First Shift Warehouse Stocker at Southco Distributing Company is responsible for receiving and properly stocking inventory products during the day shift. This role involves maintaining product levels, conducting inventory cycle counts, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment for the night shift team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Warehouse experience including the use of case cutters, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts (Stand-up preferred).
• Reach truck and Forklift Certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise and stock inventory products during the day shift.
• Stock products according to specific locations using labels and receiving documents.
• Utilize RF scanners and label printers for receiving products.
• Maintain product levels and conduct inventory cycle counts.
• Keep the work area clean and free of obstructions.
• Review work section before leaving to ensure safe access for the night shift.
• Move products using a Stand-up Forklift when necessary.
