Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferable in Electrical field, plus 6 years of relevant experience; OR 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing roles.
  • Computer skills (Outlook, Time tracking systems), SAP knowledge.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of people leading.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team within a test cell to execute product testing in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies.
  • Organize and allocate resources to meet testing targets effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure that production scheduling and production plan meet the volume requirements agreed upon in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels.
  • Recommend testing equipment and facility improvements as necessary.
  • Identify deficiencies in test area, propose improvement activities, and oversee implementation of actions to improve overall testing performance.
  • Manage the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams.
  • Lead teams, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, career plans, training, and safety protocols.
